Your Privacy Is the Product

We don't track you, sell your data, or run ads. Here's everything we collect — and why.

Last updated: April 16, 2025

1. Who We Are

TMaily ("we", "us", "our") operates the website tmaily.com, a free disposable temporary email service. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our service.

2. What We Collect

We operate a minimal-data service by design:

  • Email messages sent to your temporary address are received and held in memory (Redis) for up to 24 hours, then permanently deleted.
  • Session identifiers are stored in a browser cookie for the sole purpose of linking your browser session to your temporary inbox. This is a randomly generated string — not tied to any personal identity.
  • No IP addresses are logged or stored.
  • No personal data (name, real email, phone number, etc.) is ever collected or required.

3. How We Use Information

The only purpose for any data we handle is to deliver the temporary email service to you:

  • Email content is used solely to display messages in your browser.
  • Session data is used solely to route emails to the correct browser session.
  • We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

4. Data Retention

All email messages and session data are automatically deleted after 24 hours. You may also delete your address and all associated messages at any time using the Delete button. There is no long-term storage of any kind.

5. Cookies

We use a single, strictly-necessary session cookie to associate your browser with your temporary inbox. This cookie does not track you across websites and contains only a random identifier. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data to any third party. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking pixels.

Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may log font requests; we have no control over this. Consider using a browser extension to block it if this is a concern.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile for invisible bot protection when generating email addresses. This service runs a non-intrusive browser challenge to verify you are human. Cloudflare may collect limited technical signals during this process. For details, see the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy.

7. Security

All connections to TMaily are secured via HTTPS. Data in transit between your browser and our servers is encrypted. Because we store no personal data, a breach would not expose any personally identifiable information.

8. Children

TMaily is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
